In an official <a href="http://links.newstex.com/link?p=105565&c=24&s=TWGK-5341-42172655&url=http%3A%2F%2Fdcu.blog.dccomics.com%2F2010%2F02%2F18%2Ffor-immediate-release-dc-entertainment-names-executive-team%2F" target="_blank">press release</a> posted on the DC Comics blog, <a href="http://links.newstex.com/link?p=105565&c=24&s=TWGK-5341-42172655&url=http%3A%2F%2Fdcu.blog.dccomics.com%2F" target="_blank">The Source</a>, it was announced that the legendary <a href="http://links.newstex.com/link?p=105565&c=24&s=TWGK-5341-42172655&url=http%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FJim_Lee" target="_blank">Jim Lee</a> will become Co-Publisher along with <a href="http://links.newstex.com/link?p=105565&c=24&s=TWGK-5341-42172655&url=http%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FDan_DiDio" target="_blank">Dan Didio</a>, thus filling the gap left when former Publisher, <a href="http://links.newstex.com/link?p=105565&c=24&s=TWGK-5341-42172655&url=http%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FPaul_Levitz" target="_blank">Paul Levitz</a>, stepped down back in September of 2009.</p> <p>In the same press release fan favourite DC scribe, <a href="http://links.newstex.com/link?p=105565&c=24&s=TWGK-5341-42172655&url=http%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FGeoff_Johns" target="_blank">Geoff Johns</a>, is named as Chief Creative Officer.</p> <p><strong>Congratulations</strong> to all involved!</p> <p>Fans – let’s hope this doesn’t mean we’ll be seeing less writing from Geoff Johns.
