It would be fascinating if board members actually began posting. The combination of news from established sources plus board member commentary would certainly help investors and analysts get a better picture of a company. The value, of course, would be the aggregated content sets.

We encourage public company boards to take a foray into blogging. Here at Newstex, we'd be thrilled to syndicate board content to eager readers worldwide. But we wonder if any boards will have the guts to try. We certainly hope so.
